There are many great residential subdivisions in town, offering safety and a real sense of community. Family is important in Carstairs. Check out the many programs we offer young families. Our recreation facilities include soccer fields, tennis courts, arena and curling rink, as well as a splash park now in the planning stages. The campground is simply beautiful, and features a replica grain elevator with many historical items on exhibit.

Canada Day
Host: Town of Carstairs
Description: Come have a glass of lemonade and a square at the Roulston Olde Tyme Confection. Sponsored by the Roulston Museum. Homemade Goodness at Old Fashioned Prices! Giggle Gang Clowns in the Kids Zone sponsored by Carstairs Ag Society. Kids! Decorate your bikes and enter our famous BIKE PARADE at 1:15 pm for a chance to win one of TWO NEW BIKES! Or second prizes of BIKE HELMETS! Sponsored by Gold Seal Master Builder. Come ready to be doused by the Carstairs Firefighters! From 1 - 3 pm, On Stage Entertainment featuring: Polyjesters and Friends, followed by Lee and Sandy (schoolhousesongs.com) from 3 - 4 pm. Fireworks at 11 pm.
