There are many great residential subdivisions in town, offering safety and a real sense of community. Family is important in Carstairs. Check out the many programs we offer young families. Our recreation facilities include soccer fields, tennis courts, arena and curling rink, as well as a splash park now in the planning stages. The campground is simply beautiful, and features a replica grain elevator with many historical items on exhibit.

Description: Beef and Barley Days is our annual event with something for the whole family! The Town of Carstairs is proud to host the many activities that our tireless volunteers spend countless hours planning. This year's event takes place July 16, 17, and 18th. Comm'y Spirit Awards
Host: Community Resource Centre
Description: The 2010 Community Spirit Awards will be presented during Beef and Barley Days. Everyone is welcome to join in celebration of our outstanding volunteers! Tickets $10 at the Curling Club door. Desserts and Awards at 6 pm. FREE coffee and dessert tickets compliments of Carstairs FCSS available for pickup at the Town Office.
